Service Agreement

1. Nature of this Agreement

1.1. This Service Agreement is a plain-language commercial summary of what you are subscribing to with Practilium. It does not replace the Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy. If this summary conflicts with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use prevail.

1.2. Accepting this Agreement is a condition, together with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, for using the platform. Acceptance is a single act, recorded together with the other two, from the same checkbox.

2. Educational purpose and no medical advice

2.1. The service is an educational tool for preparing for medical exams and practising simulated clinical cases.

2.2. It is not a healthcare service and does not replace real medical evaluation, diagnosis, prescription or care. All content (cases, questions, corrections and tutor responses) is generated by artificial intelligence, without review by a doctor or healthcare professional, and none of it should guide decisions about a real patient.

2.3. Full details on the educational nature of the service are in the Terms of Use.

3. Subscription: billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds

• Billing: the Pro subscription is monthly or annual and renews automatically for an equal period until you cancel. The price in effect is shown on the plans page before purchase, and applicable taxes such as VAT are shown at checkout.
• Cancellation: at any time through the billing portal. Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid.
• Right to cancel: if you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase. Full rules are in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
• Payment failure: we keep Pro access for up to 7 days of grace while payment is retried. If it keeps failing, the account goes back to the Free Plan.

4. Use of data and content for AI and personalisation

4.1. Your answers and interactions with the tutor are used to generate corrections, explanations and the readiness indicator for your own account. They are never used to train third-party AI models.

4.2. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Limitation of liability

5.1. Practilium does not guarantee that you will pass, or reach any score or place, in any exam. It is a study support tool, not a promise of results.

5.2. Practilium's liability for use of the platform is limited as set out in the Terms of Use. Nothing in this Agreement or the Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Acceptance and term

6.1. This Agreement takes effect from the active acceptance recorded on our servers (version, date, IP address and browser) and stays in effect while your account is active. A new version of this text needs a new acceptance at your next visit.
