About this image: description, credit and labeled bones
Humerus, scapula, clavicle and the upper ribs.
The simulated image shows a slight stair-step effect on the spine and the lateral soft tissue of the arm touches the edge of the field; the scapula overlaps the ribs, as on a real radiograph.
About these images: the radiographs are reconstructed by computer from public, anonymized CT scans, and the CT studies are resampled slices of those same scans. Bones are outlined from the dataset's own segmentations (or from MOOSE, in the knee and femur studies). They are for studying normal anatomy, not for diagnostic training.
