About this image: description, credit and labeled bones
L1 to L5, sacrum and the thoracolumbar junction from the side.
The dense line anterior to the lumbar bodies is probably aortic calcification, a common incidental finding in adults.
About these images: the radiographs are reconstructed by computer from public, anonymized CT scans, and the CT studies are resampled slices of those same scans. Bones are outlined from the dataset's own segmentations (or from MOOSE, in the knee and femur studies). They are for studying normal anatomy, not for diagnostic training.
