About this image: description, credit and labeled bones
Distal femur, patella, tibial plateau and fibular head.
Leg bones segmented by MOOSE (not by the dataset); the CT ends just below the knee, so the tibial and fibular shafts are short, and the simulated image is blurrier than a real radiograph.
About these images: the radiographs are reconstructed by computer from public, anonymized CT scans, and the CT studies are resampled slices of those same scans. Bones are outlined from the dataset's own segmentations (or from MOOSE, in the knee and femur studies). They are for studying normal anatomy, not for diagnostic training.
